The Account Executive’s focus should be to become a trusted advisor of their clients, developing an understanding of their clients ‘business objectives and strategy so that they can propose intelligence solutions which help their clients achieve their goals. Account manager should use their knowledge of their clients’ strategy to advise on where and how Euromonitor can help, thereby move from being supplier of data to creating long-lasting and successful relationships.

The Account executive manages a territory of consulting claim renewal accounts and is personally responsible for securing their renewals every year, growing revenue, penetrate account relationship and embedding Euromonitor as their market intelligence solution partner.

This is a proactive, commercially driven role where success is ultimately measured in renewal rate and revenue growth. The Account manager must be confident and self-motivated, and keen to work closely with clients and internal teams drive the commercial agenda.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The primary objective is to achieve renewal target for consulting claims in China, also drive upsell conversations around the brand empowerment bundle, continuing to grow the tier in line with business growth objectives, while:

  • Securing consulting claim renewal by account and pipeline lifecycle management and process optimization.
  • Support sales partner develop account growth and penetrate account partnership by understand account’s organization, BU strategy and priorities, key timing, and responsibilities.
  • Collect feedbacks, build value stories, industry buzz word and use cases. Needs evaluation and analysis for develop relevant product offerings to meet changing needs of our client base.
  • Renew requirement evaluation and proposal writing, cross team collaboration with research and industry experts.
  • Managing sales and order processing activities in Sales Force including opportunity, lead, contact and activity management promoting best practice adoption and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entry of required and relevant information.
  • Understanding details within client relationships, willing to partner and travel with sales partners to uncover and close opportunities across the brand empowerment bundle product suite. Be able to coordinate meetings and present awards event between the clients and internal leaders.
  • Understanding Euromonitor capabilities and Clients interests, able to transfer client’s knowledge to support internal product improvement and NPD.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated person, ideally with at least 2 years relevant experience with a proven track record managing client relationship and delivering incremental revenue.

  • Networking and communication skills to uncover new opportunities and deepen client relationships.
  • Tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, consultative selling mindset and persuasiveness to close deals.
  • Strong ability to manage complex sales cycles, multi-faced negotiations and proactive management of advancing the sales process
  • Target oriented and result driven ability to meet both revenue and activity target monthly and annually.
  • Ability to manage workload across all clients, balancing proactive commercial activities with reactive client support.
  • Ability to build business territory and action plans, and being details orientated and organised in completing the plan.
  • Strong understanding of Euromonitor’s CG claim research methodology and Shanghai top product offerings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics preferable. Team player.
  • Good oral and written English.
