To complete our creative and dynamic team in Lausanne, we are seeking an:

Area Sales Manager China (Shanghai)

Starting date: as soon as possible

Your role:

As an Area Sales Manager China, your mission will be to generate revenue in your assigned territories. Your core activities will consist of nurturing and closing new sales opportunities, as well as creating long-term and trusting relationships with existing customers and partners.

You will be based in Shanghai and be part of the Big China Team and report to the General Manager of Big China.

What you will own:

  • Own the sales objectives and growth strategy in your assigned territory
  • Participate of Managing and developing a network of channel partners
  • Generate revenue with new and existing customers, with an emphasis on large industrial conglomerates
  • Travel to customers and partners for proof of concept projects, presentations, and trade shows; and
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to generate local marketing content

Requirements

Your profile:

  • More than 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in Chemical industry;
  • Chinese native speaker, Fluent in English. Any other language a strong asset;
  • Education lever: Bachelor or Higher:
  • Willing to travel (up to 50% of the time);
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work flexibly and collaboratively on a wide range of tasks; and
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
