Sales Manager - Financial Services

• Ensure the smooth transition to the new role and be ready for full responsibilities from FY2023
• Supervising, motivating and monitoring team performance to help them achieve individual and collective renewal / upsell / new sales targets
• Providing ongoing guidance to team on demonstrations, pitches and proposals
• Interviewing / hiring / training new employees
• Updating the management team on a regular basis on all issues, including review of approaches and team strategies
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of all Euromonitor’s products and services and ensuring the same is maintained for all members of the team
• Full line management responsibilities for all members of own team

Requirements

• Develop an in-depth understanding of financial service territory and sales process with them.
• Create a sales plan with your team on how to reach the team’s target and ensure implementation of the plan. Take full personal responsibility for achievement of your individual and the team’s collective aims.
• Manage, maintain and grow a winning sales and account management team, each of whom:
• Researches a strong prospect list and actively expands the scope of potential customer companies beyond initial lists assigned.
• Takes ownership of Passport’s commercial performance and for achieving sales targets in assigned territories.
• Ensures that sales targets are met using the most efficient and wide-ranging promotional methods, with a specific emphasis on telemarketing, online demonstrations, face-to-face meetings and consultative selling through in-depth contact over the long term with multiple contacts within target organisations.
• Attends trade fairs, exhibitions and industry events.
• Provides after sales support and training to clients.
• Generates new sales from existing Euromonitor International clients
• Actively ensures customers know how to use their online service from Euromonitor and use it to the full.

• The Financial Service team Sales Manager will provide hands-on support to each team member, in particular in meetings, pitches and negotiations and through regular training, appraisals and personal development exercises.
