Job Description

The Role:

This role will require to lead and develop different digital business strategies online activities (e.g. ecommerce, eEvent, advertising) to drive the sales of this channel ahead of the growth of the market. To build on-line sales to be a part of sustainable and profitable business. Raise brand awareness online and drive online traffic to business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales team and marketing operations team on the alignment for plan, budget amp; implementation of digital business.
  • Build strategic partnerships with E-commerce retailers’ and other digital platforms.
  • Plan and execute E-Commerce strategy, e.g. Commercial, Marketing, pricing strategy, joint business partner plans etc.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams for online promotions and special events, support cross channel marketing activities.
  • Secure investments and support from regional as well as global digital team.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of online and offline business.
  • Create and manage annual expense budget and sales forecast for eCommerce channel as aligned with the Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term campaigns to increase E-Commerce traffic, conversion, average order value, profitability and reduce shopping cart abandonment.
  • Optimize E-Commerce channel website design and layout to promote a premium customer experience.
  • Search and review new technology and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital business.
  • Define and drive China digital and ecom strategy with limitless ideas and aim no.1 digital beauty brand in China.
  • Define the launch strategy and cadence for ecom platform such as Tmall, wechat, JD and others.
  • Build good relationship with major platform and develop first in class program which drive consumer engagement and sales.
  • Maximize KOL affiliates to drive on platform and off platform buzz and sales.
  • Partner with Global Digital and Marketing teams on third party platforms to ensure all promotional opportunities and events are fully supported / executed.

Reporting Relationships:

  • This role reports into the Brand General Manager/Director and global E-Commerce team

Requirements

  • Experience with China's ecommerce/ digital platforms.
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, and is confident in managing relationships at all levels.
  • Operational efficient, strategically credible.
  • Adaptive: Able to adapt plans, strategies and processes in ways suited to the needs of the business while promoting consistency.
  • Executive presence: A seasoned business professional who is comfortable talking to, and influencing, senior decision makers.
  • Organized: Well organized, with a disciplined approach to evaluating priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Driven: Relentless pursuit of progress and achievement of goals.
  • Being able to work under fast pace and in matrix organization.
  • Come from the digital world with online sales experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills, effective relationship building skills with internal and external partners.
  • Eligible to work in mainland China.
