As a member of the Asia Business Development team, based in Beijing. You will be responsible for proactive prospecting, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities, including acquisition of new customers and up-sell of strategic accounts. Your territory of responsibility will include the north of China. This is a front-line quota-carrying role, assuming intensive sales activities and travel across the region.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Proactively build and manage pipeline
  • Structure, negotiate and close deals
  • Actively contribute to the execution of sales and marketing strategy for the region
  • Collaborate with other departments (Customer Success, Inbound sales, etc) to grow customer satisfaction and company's revenue
  • Provide relevant customer feedback to product development team and the management team
  • Keep track record of personal sales activities in CRM (Hubspot)
  • Deliver product presentations to clients and at relevant market events
  • Build professional relationships with key stake holders and influencers in the industry on the assigned territory
  • Develop new user cases in an assigned market
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
  • Native Chinese and English at A2/B1 level
  • University degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in direct sales or business development in B2B, financial, Fintech, information security, SaaS industry experience as a plus
  • Experience in selling product/services to decision makers, end-users, and C-level executives as a plus
  • Experience in managing pipeline (50+ deals simultaneously) and high velocity sales (25+ won deals a year)
  • Wiliness to perform and experience in high velocity sales (engaging 30-40 new customers every month, managing pipeline with 50+ opportunities, 100+ proactive sales activities a month on average)
  • Readiness to make cold calls and previous experience in it
