Job Description
Rystad Energy is a leading energy research and consulting firm headquartered in Oslo, Norway with offices across the world. The company was founded in 2004 to provide strategic consulting services but has evolved into one of the leading research organizations with a series of databases and reports covering the global energy industry. The Renewable Energy team is responsible for Rystad Energy’s research and analyses of solar, wind, storage sectors.
We are seeking an independent, self-driven and well-organized individual with a good analytical mindset and communication skills to support our renewable research in China. This is a paid internship. Key Responsibilities
- Support updating Rystad Energy’s renewable asset database (including solar, onshore wind, storage), gather data across key cost, service and equipment providers.
- Support industrial news and market trends updates.
- Conduct secondary research to supplement existing data and information.
- Support creation of charts for commentaries and reports.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by Team Manager and Analysts.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or post-graduate student pursuing degree in economics, renewable energy, engineering, finance, computer science or other relevant majors.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MSOffice Excel and Powerpoint. Programming skills are an advantage but not required.
- Experience related to renewable energy will be an added advantage.
- Native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English.
