Rystad Energy is a leading energy research and consulting firm headquartered in Oslo, Norway with offices across the world. The company was founded in 2004 to provide strategic consulting services but has evolved into one of the leading research organizations with a series of databases and reports covering the global energy industry. The Renewable Energy team is responsible for Rystad Energy’s research and analyses of solar, wind, storage sectors.
We are seeking an independent, self-driven and well-organized individual with a good analytical mindset and communication skills to support our renewable research in China. This is a paid internship. Key Responsibilities
- To support the collection and analysis of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) data for the metals and mining industry.
- Assist with data collection from various sources such as company reports, public databases, and industry reports.
- Organize and maintain data in an easily accessible format for analysis.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement in data collection and analysis processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to the team.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by Team Manager and Analysts.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English.
