Assistant Warehouse Manager

• Coordination of the operations (Customer services, Operations, Finance, Quality) and make sure adequate resources deployed
• Resources management (potentially with predefined and approved providers) to maintain high service level, quality excellence and costs optimization
• Productivity of the platform through an adequate organization and optimization of the use of the resources, IT system (WMS) and optimization of the processes. Out of the box thinking is a must to operate the multi-client, multi services warehouse
• Being the warehouse main leader/ coordinator and ensuring effective communications between the customers, operations teams, subcontractors, local and regional management team on day-to-day operations problems and issues
• Handling customers’ complaints and developing corrective action plan to solve the complaints in timely manner.
• Sourcing potential subcontractors, negotiating with them to get the optimum cost/quality of services for the best interest of the customers and BOLLORE, training them according to the designed solutions, monitoring their performance in comply with the committed service levels, correcting sub-standard performance in timely manner
• Liaison with relevant partners to ensure effective implementation or anticipate market changes
• Understanding the customers new requirements and alerting local and regional management of their changing needs
• Implementing and reviewing the solutions according to the agreed specifications, i.e. not limited to the development of standard operating procedures (SOP), service levels, key performance indicators (KPI), operations, staff training and management reports, system supports etc.
• Maintains ISO System daily operation and ensure for ISO certification audit.

Requirements

• University graduates in logistics, transportation or international trade disciplines
• Key Account Management / Customer Service / Operations managerial responsibilities with 5 years solid experience in dealing with MNCs and European organizations
• Great leadership with clear/ precise communication ability and strong analytical mindset
• Good relationship with land transportation, warehousing operations in the region etc with solid market intelligence on the prevailing rates and strong negotiation skill
• Familiar with PRC labor law
• Have managed a multi-client / multi services (import/ export) warehousing and domestic distribution center for at least 5-years, fashion or apparel experience is a mus
