As a Back-End Developer, you are responsible for the server-side development of our products, ensuring consistency and reliability that thousands of businesses around the world can depend on.The work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. You have strong analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and excellent coding skills. You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about our industry (even we don’t). What we’re after is someone with a curious mind and a passion for improvement.
Requirements
What you will do:
- Build robust/scalable distributed system with high traffic/concurrency
- Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications and protocols
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Develop robust and efficient data access layer
- Database administration
You will need:
- Proficient knowledge of Node.js
- Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and experience with MongoDB
- Ability to build server infrastructures based on business needs and best practices Understanding of modern engineering practices (e.g Continuous Integration etc)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. JavaScript, HTML and CSS)
- Understanding of the best practices of security for a distributed system
- Passion to make a large impact and contribute to a growing product and engineering team
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge and experience with AWS cloud platform
