Senior Consultant/Associate Director
Control Risks, China

This candidate is responsible for generating profitable business by identifying and delivering needs for risk management solutions from foreign and Chinese clients. To perform this role, she/he should:

• Become a trusted adviser to client executives and build and develop key client relationships; identify opportunities to support clients in China and internationally,
• Understand and define client problems and scope solutions; communicate in detail to other Control Risks consultants to provide clients with solutions to complex issues; assist colleagues in drafting proposals/solutions. Successfully, introduce, guide, scope, and engage in delivery of consulting cases.
• Support Partner, Greater China and North Asia in understanding the market, where present and future opportunities may present themselves, and communicate those trends and opportunities internally.
• Have an organised, rigorous, and cooperative approach to business development and account management; independently identify and bring in new opportunities, work with practice lines to bring in new opportunities
• Work to understand Control Risks’ unique consulting offering, but look for places where creative inputs, new ways of applying methodology, and improvements to delivery can be made, either in technology, cross team cooperation, or forms of business.

Requirements

• China business experience, preferably in the technology sector
• Account management skills including experience of working with foreign and Chinese MNCs
• Business networking capabilities across foreign and Chinese MNCs
• Effective team worker
• Native spoken/written Chinese and excellent English-language skills.
