Consultants are focused on managing and conducting compliance-driven reviews and investigations, and complex problem solving engagements using forensic accounting, business intelligence, technology solutions and working closely with other Control Risks service lines
Role tasks and responsibilities
Case work
Act as case managers and service multiple assignments of reasonable complexity
Provide support in more complex or multi-jurisdictional tasks
Able to write proposals, conduct investigations independently, use outside resources, write reports and raise invoices in a timely fashion
Able to prepare and present elements in a larger investigation as part of team
Handle client communications as the case manager
Business development
Contribute to marketing and profile-raising events
Participate in client meetings
Begin to develop longer-term client relationships
Seek opportunities to develop projects and the practice in general
Requirements
1- 5 years’ relevant experience with a reputable accounting firm, and/or in-house compliance/investigations role with MNCs in China.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Native written/spoken Mandarin skills and proficient in English, both spoken and written. Other languages are an advantage
Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent
China or overseas accountancy certifications (e.g., CICPA, CPA, ACCA, CA) is strongly preferred
Willingness to travel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
