We are seeking an ambitious and tenacious Sourcing Director responsible for driving results and value through strategic procurement activities for a portfolio of CGP’s.
You will act as a strategic contributor to the overall mission of company growth, working closely with the COO to develop category strategies and execute the strategic sourcing process across the company’s global portfolio of products.
You will work cross-functionally with other departments to drive close collaboration, serve as a point of contact between the vendors and business units driving the competitive sourcing strategy, and pursue value-creation opportunities.

What we will achieve together in the first 12 month of your role:
- You have identified and proposed alternative suppliers for the top 50 products that generate the highest revenue for the company, all of these suppliers comply with the 4 core areas of improvement.
- You will have generated savings of 10% on 50% of products proposed with the new suppliers or with the negotiations that will be done by Purchasing derived from your sourcing benchmark.
- The suppliers you identified and turned over to purchasing have complied with the specific metrics below for orders placed the precious year:
- Perfect order % gt; 90% (the number of POs that fall inside the required schedule from day of issuance to goods on-the-water).
- On-time delivery tolerance: +/-10% of due date (the overall average delivery performance from PO issuance to agreed cargo ready date)
- Production time: lt;10% from the previous supplier’s production time (The overall production and delivery time is 10% less days across the proposed suppliers).
- You will have worked with the Purchasing Manager to reduce vendor concentration and to develop additional suppliers for our top selling products.
- All the suppliers you developed comply with the standards set by the Quality department.
- All the new suppliers proposed by you have signed contracts and are happy to work with ATV and consistently deliver products with the correct quality standards on time and at the most competitive price.
- You have successfully built a team of 3 plus Sourcing Managers, who can be trusted and relied upon to drive business performance and sourcing strategy;
- As a team you have successfully sourced 200 new products within the 2021 performance year which meet all agreed upon cost and quality targets.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for our CG product portfolio with ownership of each category performance in terms of total cost, quality and services;
- Develops amp; regularly maintains/up-dates short-, mid- and long-term category strategy, linking this strategy with overall business strategy/objectives, in alignment with departmental stakeholders (C-suite).
- You will have and continue to forge key relationships with (strategic) suppliers/industry leaders and develop those relationships on behalf of ATV Global being mindful of long-term mutually beneficial and ethical objectives as well as providing the business with access to supplier innovation.
- Manage the sourcing and purchasing activities such as price, Tamp;C negotiations and to ensure continuity of supply, reduce total costs and prepare for future sourcing challenges.
- You will directly manage a team of sourcing managers and third parties, to be responsible for sourcing vendors and key suppliers;
- Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories and Lead time reductions.
- Develop a yearly budget depending on sourcing needs.
- Reduce reliance upon third party sourcing methods/relationships with a focus to bring the core of our highest revenue generating product sourcing in-house, reducing cost spent on third party introductions.
- Management of third party sourcing relations with a view to reducing the need for these partnerships with increased focus on internal sourcing.
- Manage the quarterly objective setting cycle and performance management requirements of their day to day roles.
