PAC Group Controls Engineer
The PAC Group is seeking Control Engineers, with 10-15 years’ experience to join its Global Operations consulting team.
Project delivery locations vary.
Requirements
Working as a key member within the Manufacturing Team, the Controls Engineer will lead the design and development for Controls Engineering at this automotive client site. The Engineer will be acting as the Owner’s Representative for Control Engineering and will be responsible for leading the team managing all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality and integrity ultimately leading to a successful completion of the project including handover back to the client.
- Ability to perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) validation at battery module line integrator.
Good working knowledge of automotive process equipment electrical standards. Must have ability to verify compliance to and functionality of client equipment controls specifications.Hands-on experience with programming PLC’s such as Allen Bradley, FANUC robotics and other vendors' drives.Ability to create and verify electrical schematic, BOM’s, panel layouts, equipment arrangement drawings, cable schedules, interconnection and termination diagrams.Extensive experience in sub-system and ancillary systems integration.Extensive experience with in-process and post process gauge integration and feedback.Experienced in set-up and troubleshooting of production monitoring systems (ANDON, POSMON, etc.).Knowledge of and experience with Controls System Integration covering the full spectrum of End-to-End solutions.Self-motivation and good communication skills to ensure excellent work product.

- Proficiency with the full suite of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Outlook.
- Proficiency with Logic Control and Numeric Control systems related software.
- Minimum Bachelor degree from related discipline(s) and 10-15 years related experience.
Prequalification:
- Candidates should have prior work experience in automotive manufacturing facilities.
- Previous overseas project assignments are viewed as a plus.
