The Role
Veeva is seeking a non-traditional Employee Success Business Partner to deliver critical employee services to our growing team in China. The ideal candidate will be both hands-on and strategic.
We are looking for an individual who ideally comes from a consulting background, with a proven track record of delivering business outcomes outside of HR. This individual does not need to come from a traditional HR background.
As the Employee Success Business Partner, you will be the key point of contact on-the-ground for our China team. You will lead projects for our Veeva China team that will focus on operational excellence and help Veeva continue to grow, scale, and drive employee success. You will demonstrate your ability to work in a global and cross-functional team environment. What You'll Do- Provide expertise in the following areas: performance management, leadership and manager coaching, employee relations matters, data analysis
- Provide full lifecycle support of employee-related activities, including onboarding, employee transfers, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and terminations
- Identify and deploy impactful people strategies and policies that enable the organization to perform effectively and scale efficiently as it grows
- Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions
- Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex
Requirements- Strong business acumen with a proven track record of deliverables in a function outside of HR
- Experience working on the business side
- Prior consulting experience is a must for this role
- Clear demonstration of ability to solve for employee relations issues, working through complex situations and escalations
- Ability to assess needs, understand core issues, and achieve results with minimum supervision
- Adept at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data; comfortable managing stakeholders in local and virtual environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
- Strong critical thinking skills and aptitude to learn multiple processes and systems
- Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with limited supervision
- Highly resourceful and comfortable working with ambiguity
Nice to Have- Experience working in the technology industry or at an enterprise software company
