The Role
Our Technical Services team in Dalian, China is a specialized capability within our Professional Services practice. We aim to increase the value of Veeva products to our customers by integrating them into their enterprise architecture landscape. We provide technical advisory services, implement and integrate our products, and build custom software solutions.
As a Technical Practice Manager, you will be leading members of Veeva’s Technical Services group working on building strong teams from the ground up. This team tackles only the most complex problems working to simplify them and ensure the customer’s speed and success.

- Build and lead an amazing team of Technical Architects and Consultants that are able to: Design and implement Force.com solution (Apex/VisualForce/Lightning/etc). Design and implement custom data visualization as well as applications. Design and implement cloud-based integration. Develop internal and external tools to help our customers and our consultants. Own the technical domain leads and support regions wherever needed. Contribute to our professional services knowledge base

- Work closely with customers to understand their pain points and recommend efficient solutions

Requirements- Native Chinese and proficient English skills both verbal and written
- Strong presentation skill with an ability to articulate to a business and technical audience
- 5+ years leading, hiring, and growing technical teams
- Direct experience of designing, building solutions and leading the technical consultants to get development delivered
- Direct experience in translating business requirements into software specifications including writing and reviewing technical documentation
- Has owned any technical areas as an SME and proven track record of coaching new members
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a software professional services organization or consulting background
- Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Nice to Have- Development on AWS, AliCloud, SFDC Platform
- Experience designing and developing cloud-based integrations
- Project management experience
- WeChat Development amp; Integration Experience
- Familiar with the common Java framework
