For our Digital Industries Division in Chengdu, we are looking for Mendix Cloud-Ops Engineers.
The Mendix Cloud team is responsible for building and maintaining a modern, scalable, highly availableinfrastructure to power up products and services on the Mendix platform. We are gearing up to launch our Cloud services in the People’s Republic of China and we will go about this in the Mendix Blue way:shortening as much as possible time to value by keeping the feedback cycle with our customers as short as possible. What are my responsibilities?- Designing, building, shipping and maintaining distributed systems
- Building monitoring, logging and alerting solutions around our infrastructure and applications
- Improving the reliability of our systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Putting everything into code and adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Plan for reliability by designing systems to work across our multi-region and multi-cloud environments
- Work in close collaboration with multi-functional teams
What do I need to qualify for this job?- Containerization knowledge (we use Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of configuration tools and frameworks (we use Terraform, Helm, YAML and others)
- Have deep understanding of IaaS technologies (such as Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)
- Experience with developing, maintaining and managing a public service in production
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Fluent in both oral and written English
- Having prior Mendix app development experience would be a plus
- Optionally want to be trained to become Mendix Certified Advanced Developer
