MediaMonks China is looking for a Group Account Director. In this role, you’re responsible for client servicing and project management of some of our key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Client servicing: you build strong rapport and trust with your clients and you advise them on their (digital) marketing challenges based on your solid expertise.
- Work with clients, the internal team and external partners to clearly define project requirements
- Developing scopes of work, quotations, timelines and other project documentation
- Managing your project financials including estimates, invoices and payments
- Managing your resources to forecast workload
- Advising the creative team on possibilities, feasibilities and implications
- Gate-keeping and elevating quality of output both strategically and creatively
- See opportunities beyond given briefs for organic growth of the accounts
- Project management: as an account leader you’re accountable for the timely delivery, within budget and to the highest quality, of the projects from the accounts you manage. Building on your in-depth understanding of strategy, creative, content, digital, and social in China.
- Team growth: as a team leader, your juniors are your responsibility. Train them, grow them, delegate responsibly and make room for yourself to grow as well.
Skills
- Digital-native with solid China social, digital and tech know-how
- Process-driven thinker with strong organizational, analytical and project management skills
- Business-consultant that can advise senior clients on their business and marketing challenges
- Experienced on both social retainer operations amp; campaign/IMC planning and executions
- Competent in writing briefs, debriefs, contact reports, simply strategic deck

Qualifications
- Have worked at least 8 years in project management / client servicing / account management roles in the creative/digital/advertising/marketing industry of Shanghai
- Have an impressive portfolio of complex campaigns that you delivered
- Fluent in English and Chinese (both required, written and spoken)
