What You Will Do

The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful delivery of the main product in Brinc’s offering: the Accelerator Program, which is designed to support entrepreneurs in growing their early-stage startups. This is designed to support the core of Brinc’s efforts: building a strong portfolio of high-growth startups that manage growing profit with a deep and impactful purpose. The Program Manager should be able to train others on the process of the program execution and management as well.


The Program Manager oversees and works closely with the founders of the teams who are participating in the accelerator program. It is their job to execute the strategies jointly conceived and developed with the Programs Managing Director and put them to the test, Implementing any necessary changes as the program progresses. In most cases, they have the experience to act as mentors to new and less experienced employees. It is their job to manage their team to ensure their work meets the standards of the company and the needs of their startups, which are their main customer and focus.


The role requires effective coordination of the program’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies, including oversight of any risks and issues that arise. Meanwhile, the role also needs to be able to work well with partners and bring in more mentors and resources to the program.


This role is also required to travel or relocate to one of Brinc’s current or future program locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and designing the program, proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action proactively
  • Ablility to provide training to others on the program management and execution work
  • Initiate small-scale market research studies and analyze findings to understand new market opportunities across different industrial sectors
  • Continue analysis and communicate with selected program participants to support the program’s market exploration and investment activities
  • Execute business development and corporate market research programs by devising collection methods and then collect targeted data to identify and evaluate potential corporate partners for participation in Brinc programs
  • Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and competitive issues and products
  • Reporting the progress of the program at regular intervals to the Programs Managing Director and establishing a common approach to major issues that arise
  • Managing risks to the program's successful outcome
  • Sourcing and due diligence of potential applicants to the program
  • Ensuring there is an allocation of common resources and skills within the program's scope
  • Managing internal and external counterparties, which may include mentors, corporates, and investors
  • Successful execution of program operations
  • Manage the program budget, including risk allowance
  • Secure resources and expertise, for example, appointing professional advisers to support the project sponsor role
  • Ensuring the overall integrity of the program - focusing on the internal consistency of the program, and on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards
  • Ensuring effective quality assurance of all program operations and our founder experiences
  • Work cross-functionally and liaise with other teams at Brinc on Ecosystem Development programs
  • Review and update processes to continuously improve the delivery of our programs
  • Support the elaboration of proposals, budgets, and completion of contracts
  • Help source and manage internal and external resources to implement programs, including investment partners, mentors, Entrepreneurs in Residence, experts, etc
  • Help manage relationships with our Ecosystem Partners, which include foreign governmental organizations, large corporations, and foundations
