We are looking for an Assistant Head for an International School based in Chongqing. This is a full-time position starting in February 2024.

Job Responsibilities
- To support Founding Head and Deputy Heads in creating, developing, implementing and evaluating the vision and values of the school with a continuous focus on excellence
- This job entails the setting of, maintenance and conscious improvement of teaching and learning standards for the students and teachers and includes everything therein
- To lead and manage key areas of school improvement to achieve the school’s plans including establishing policies and procedures and managing students, staff and resources
- To promote the culture and pastoral care of the school encapsulated
- To be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of an academic
- To be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of an academic teacher (English /social sciences subject)
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
- Teaching certificate
- At least 2 years of related subject on IGCSE or A-Level curriculum
- Passionate and knowledgeable teachers of their subject;
- Minimum 2 years of full-time leadership experience in an international school setting
- A minimum of 5-years working experience in international or bilingual schools
- Excellent communications skills
