We are looking for a Deputy Head - Academic for an International School based in Chongqing. This is a full-time position starting in February 2024.

Job Responsibilities
- To support the Head in the day to day running of the school in relation to academics
- To lead the academic teaching team to excellence in IGCSE and A-Level results
- To provide creative, adaptive, and comprehensive support for student development
- To develop the professional teaching and learning standards for students and teachers
- To develop the key skills of our students in preparation for university overseas
- To teach IGCSE and A-Level classes (up to 10 classes/week) with some flexibility required
- To ensure that the requirements for the health and safety/safeguarding of all students, students and staff learning and working in the school are met
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
- Teaching certificate
- At least 2 years of related subject on IGCSE or A-Level curriculum
- Passionate and knowledgeable teachers of their subject;
- Minimum 2 years of full-time leadership experience in an international school setting
- Excellent communications skills
