We are looking for an English Teacher for a High School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Teach English langauge to high school students
- Prepare and develop long-range and daily plans in advance that are appropriate for students and in line with the AP curriculum
- Be responsible for implementing different types of assessment, providing high quality feedback to students and using assessment to plan instruction
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required
- Working schedule is from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with a 2 hours lunch break
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Education or Humanities
- Appropriate teaching qualification, and at least 2 years’ experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or other Humanities subjects
- Excellent communications skills
