We are looking for an Economics Teacher for anInternationalSchool based in Foshan. This is a full-time position starting from February 2024.

Job details

• Monitor the progress of students towards their target grade and plan interventions to address underachievement when appropriate with a sound knowledge of your subject who wants to make a major contribution to the development of this new and expanding school and has a genuine commitment to global education
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics or related majors, with master’s or higher
• Professional teaching certifications such as PGCE or teaching license in the subject;
• A minimum of three years experience in international schools
• Experience of teaching in A-level
• Experience of working with enthusiastic and motivated students aged 15 to 17
• Evidence of commitment to continued professional development and prepared to participate in school based in- service activities

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
