The Role
To support the rapid growth of our iDeals VDR line of business in the North China region, we are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Beijing. As a vital member of our APAC Field Sales team, you will be responsible for proactive prospecting, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities. This includes acquiring new customers and upselling to existing accounts.
As a front-line, quota-carrying team member, you will actively reach out to 30-40 new customers monthly and oversee a pipeline with 50+ opportunities. Your responsibilities will also encompass an average of 100+ proactive sales activities per month. You will have a unique opportunity to interact with C-level executives and key account decision-makers, making a direct impact on the success of iDeals in China.What You Will Do
  • Build relationships with critical stakeholders and industry influencers throughout the North China region
  • Proactively build and manage the pipeline, keeping a track record of personal sales activities in CRM (Hubspot)
  • Actively contribute to the execution of the sales and marketing strategy in China
  • Deliver product presentations to clients and at relevant industry events
  • Structure, negotiate, and close deals
  • Develop new use cases in an assigned market
  • Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams
  • Collaborate with other departments (Customer Success, Inside Sales, etc) to grow customer satisfaction and company's revenue
What We Look For
  • At least 5 years of experience in direct sales or business development in B2B, SaaS, financial, fintech, or information security industries
  • Native proficiency in Chinese, English at A2/B1 level (at least CET 6)
  • Experience in managing pipelines and closing deals (25+ won deals a year)
  • Willingness to perform and experience high-velocity sales
  • Readiness to make cold calls with previous experience in it
  • University degree
