THE ROLE:We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and direct to consumer experienced Logistic Supervisor/Assistant Manager who will be a key member of our China Logistic Team.
This is a critical new role that the ideal candidate can help develop and grow into. With our consumer at the center of everything we do, this essential role will ensure providing the best-in-class logistic services to our consumer consistently across various channels. This role will work across functional teams internally and externally, with a strong focus on LSP management, warehousing amp; distribution, order fulfillment, and stock reconciliations, etc.
The ideal candidate shall be experienced and practical to manage SLP onsite, as well as handle multiple priorities. This person is a creative problem solver who will provide key insights, and offer fresh perspectives, enabling senior leaders to make sound decisions to the organization.
This role will be critical to the success of the China business and we are looking for a candidate that is driven, entrepreneurial and is able to take control of all LSPs operation in China, shall have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as is the ability to work effectively under pressure or in a fast-paced environment. This role shall be familiar with warehouse management systems and other software applications commonly used in distribution centers, shall have the basic warehousing data analysis ability.
1. LSP Management
- On site audit and monitoring.
- KPI setting, tracking amp; review.
- Check billing and ensure accuracy.
- Evaluate existing vendors and assess potential new vendors when needed.
2. Warehousing amp; Distribution Operations, and Order Fulfillment
- Monitor and track shipment, receipts, replenishment, and fulfillment of goods, GWPs and materials in the distribution centers, ensure OTIF to consumers.
- Work with LSP and other internal/external stakeholders to identify and prevent any potential issues, as well as resolving issues with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of E2E logistics.
3. Stock Reconciliation
- Maintain inventory accuracy, including volume, shelf-life, batch info and status.
- Work with the planning team to ensure that all stock levels and shelf-life are within established guidelines.
- Perform regular stock count to ensure reconciliation with system data.
4. Provide logistic related data and reports regularly and per ad-hoc requests, perform system entry, and any other logistics-related assignment(s) from line manager and functional leaders.
